This document applies to the HP Photosmart 8250, 8250v, and 8250xi printers.
Use the following steps to enable printing via Bluetooth from a laptop to the printer.
1.Turn on the printer and connect the bt300/bt450 adapter to the printer.
2.Enable Bluetooth on the laptop if it is not already enabled.
3.Insert the printer installation CD into the laptop and click Cancel if the autorun screen appears.
4.Click Start, then My Computer, and click My Bluetooth Places.
5.Select View devices in range from the right side of the window. It will display your printer. If printer is not displayed, Bluetooth is not configured properly.
6.Right-click on the printer and select Add printer.
7.Choose Have disk.
8.Select Browse.
9.Browse to CD drive and select autorun (autorun.inf).
10.Click Open.
11.Click OK.
12.Select 8200.
13.Click Next.
14.Choose Keep existing driver and click Next.
15.Select Yes at the Do you really want to use this printer as default printer? prompt.
16.Select Do not share the printer.
17.Select Yes print a test page, click Next and finish.
